The Mathematics Department (D-MATH) is responsible for Mathematics instruction in all programs of study at the ETHZ. For students concentrating in Mathematics, the Department offers a rich and carefully coordinated program of courses and seminars in a broad range of fields of pure and applied mathematics. I will draw a lot of the course material from Vakil's Foundations of Algebraic Geometry [Vak14]. There are many exercises which appear in EGA and a secondary goal would be to have references to all of these. The
